grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, this coffee is definitely a distinctive and complex coffee. You know right away when you are drinking a Sumatra coffee. This coffee is bold in flavor and mouth-feel but low in acidity (easy on the stomach). We find this coffee to be on the earthy side with a syrupy flavor and a unique spicy aroma. In the past Sumatra was one of those coffees that went under the radar, but it is gained great popularity and is in demand. We were carrying Sumatra 15 years ago for our customers. It is such a different coffee experience. We definitely recommend trying this coffee if you haven't already. This coffee is certified organic.
