Italian Roast
These Italian Roast coffee beans are very bold with a bitter dark chocolate finish. This is a classic Italian Roast.
Preparation
Grind your coffee as close to brewing as possible. Match the grind of coffee to your brewing method. We recommend using 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for 6 ounces of water. Adjust the amount of water or coffee to achieve your desired strength.
Certifications
It's very difficult to recognize coffee in these beans.
It was too bitter for me. I kind of thought it would be but I had to know.
Having enjoyed 5lbs each of Sumatra and Peru, we decided to give the Italian Roast a try. Naturally, the first brew had to be in our Bialetti Moka Pot. Intense as take-off, this was Italian Rocket Fuel to the dark side of the moon. Roasty, smoke, great mouthfeel. Another winner from Good as Gold.
This is really good Italian roast!!
