Sumatra Dark Roast
Our Sumatra Coffee is bold in flavor and mouth-feel but low in acidity (easy on the stomach). We find this coffee to be on the earthy side with a syrupy flavor and a unique spicy aroma.
Preparation
Grind your coffee as close to brewing as possible. Match the grind of coffee to your brewing method. We recommend using 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for 6 ounces of water. Adjust the amount of water or coffee to achieve your desired strength.

I'm a big fan of Sumatra. This roast has a very good flavor. Better than most. I prefer a darker roast than this, not quite to the point of being a French roast, but close. I will order more.
Excellent, rich-flavored Sumatra coffee. Although it was my first purchase of this coffee, I see myself becoming a regular buyer.
Switched to Good As Gold Coffee six months ago after our previous 10 years with another vendor. We missed their coffee but not their four price increases in three years. These guys make a great Sumatra that’s just as good and the pricing and service has been great. We are fans!
Great service, and the coffee is awesome
Ordered a 5 Pound bag which came promptly(Roaster is only a state), put some of the beans in airtight containers in the freezer and have been blazing through the rest. I didn't see a roast date on the package, but I assume fresh. The price is extremely competitive for a high quality Complex Sumatran Coffee, The beans don't look super dark roasted, but they taste it. The last similar bag I purchased was Gobeana's Sumatra Mandheling and while that is also a fantastic coffee, this one is maybe slightly better and cheaper.
Brewed Using a moccamaster technivorm though I'll probably get around to Pour Over and Cold Brew with this one.
