Our Sumatra Coffee is bold in flavor and mouth-feel but low in acidity (easy on the stomach). We find this coffee to be on the earthy side with a syrupy flavor and a unique spicy aroma.
Preparation
Grind your coffee as close to brewing as possible. Match the grind of coffee to your brewing method. We recommend using 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for 6 ounces of water. Adjust the amount of water or coffee to achieve your desired strength.
dark sumatran is hard to find at a reasonable price
I find dark sumatran one of my favorite coffees. Rich, smooth. Decent price. I've had better, richer dark sumatran but this is the real deal.

Sumatra Dark Roast
We tried the Sumatra dark roast whole bean and were Quite pleased. we made a pot of coffee with it for a week +. was good every day although not really different in taste from the coffee we have been receiving from another brand.
We will probably order a 5 LB. bag when we are ready to order more coffee beans
